Deposit Accounts for Corporates & SMEs

Definition

This account allows to deposit a specific amount for a specific period and interest, which is opened for companies, and small and medium enterprises within the terms and conditions for opening the account. It also enables you to issue an account statement for linked deposit accounts at your request, provided that the minimum amount for opening deposits is determined according to the terms and conditions of the bank.

Conditions

• The possibility of depositing and adding to the deposit account, or partial or total withdrawal before the maturity date, is determined based on the deposit product.
• The minimum amount to open the account is 2,000 dinars or its equivalent in the other main currencies.
• The term deposit account becomes dormant if no withdrawal or deposit has been made using the account except for automatic transactions (such as interest and commission transactions) after 5 years have passed since the last financial transaction.
• The dormant account is activated in the presence of the authorized person on behalf of the corporate or SME, so that he makes a financial transaction on the account, whether it is a withdrawal or a deposit.

Advantages

• The account allows to obtain the bank’s electronic services for free.
• The account can be opened in Jordanian Dinars or the other main currencies.
• This account allows the account holder to transfer interest to any other account or add it to the deposit, depending on the deposit type.
• Maturity date may extend for different periods (one month, three months, six months, one year) or per the deposit product type.

Required Documents

In the case of an existing current account, no additional documents are required.
