Savings Account for Corporates & SMEs

Definition

ahli Bank provides corporates and SMEs with a savings account that offers them multiple features including withdrawal and deposit, conditioned that the account balance is not less than the minimum account opening amount per the bank’s terms and conditions. Moreover, this account enables corporates and SMEs to obtain the bank's electronic services, noting that an account statement is issued for the savings account on demand.

Conditions

• The savings account becomes dormant if no withdrawal or deposit has been made (with the exception of automatic transactions, such as: interest and commission transactions) two years after the last withdrawal or deposit.
• The dormant account is activated in the presence of the authorized representative of the corporate or SME, so that a financial transaction is conducted on the account, whether it is a withdrawal or a deposit.
• The minimum amount to open the account is 100 dinars or its equivalent in the other main currencies.
• The account is not given a cheque book and cheques are not deposited in the account except under special approvals, where they are processed duly through the banking system.
